Eventually she fell in love with Electrophysiology and have been assisting in the EP Lab since then. She is currently IBHRE CEPS and CCDS certified and also an IBHRE ambassador.

In her role, she performs non-invasive cardiac procedures, including echocardiograms, to help diagnose and manage heart conditions. She graduated from La Trobe University in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, where she built a strong foundation in human physiology, research, and diagnostic techniques. Her work has piqued her curiosity about the intricacies of cardiac imaging, and she is especially eager to deepen her knowledge in echocardiography. Dr.Azlan Hussin joined Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) in 1997 and currently is a Senior Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist, Director of Electrophysiology and Implantable Devices as well as Chairman of the Invasive Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (ICL) Services at the same institution. He is also an Honorary Professor of Cardiology at the University Technology Mara (UiTM).
Dr.Azlan is actively involved in local and regional cardiology activities, where in addition to his responsibilities at IJN, he holds clinical workshops in electrophysiology and implantable devices for attendees. His research activities includes active involvement as investigators in many multicentre international studies, ranging from proof of concept to randomized, controlled studies. He is regularly invited as a faculty to electrophysiology meetings as well as to run electrophysiology-based workshops in other medical institutions. He was an avid road cyclist prior to the COVID pandemic, but ever since then, he has yet to find motivation to get back on his collection of road bikes and hit the road in full vigor again.

Dr Singh did fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Advanced Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Duke University, North Carolina, USA. He has also completed level 2 training in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Duke University, North Carolina, USA.
Dr Singh has keen interests in clinical cardiology, cardiac rhythm disorders (arrhythmia), cardiac pacing (including cardiac resynchronization therapy) and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. He performs electrophysiology study and radiofrequency ablation of cardiac arrhythmias. He also implants pacemakers and defibrillators.

Clin Assoc Prof Ching graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 1995. He subsequently obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2001 and the Certificate of Specialist Accreditation (Cardiology) in 2004.
Clin Assoc Prof Ching completed his clinical fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing at the Cleveland Clinic, USA, in 2007. During the fellowship, he acquired competency to perform catheter ablation of complex arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation and tachycardia as well as ventricular tachycardia. He received in-depth training in implantation and the optimisation of pacemakers, internal defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation therapy devices.
In recognition of his professional and research achievements, Clin Assoc Prof Ching was inducted as a Fellow of the ASEAN Society of Cardiology, Fellow of the Academy of Medicine (Singapore), and Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society, USA.

He worked alongside 2 other electrophysiologist and help transformed the service making it the fastest growing EP centre in the country performing close to 900 ablations per annum. After 3.5 years in post, he returned to Singapore in 2024.
Dr Lim is a European Heart Rhythm Association certified electrophysiology specialist and he performs simple and complex catheter ablations using the latest technologies. He is also a specialist in implanting all types of cardiac devices including pacemakers, defibrillators and resynchronisation therapy.
Dr Lim strongly believes in placing his patients at the heart of his approach. He takes time to explain all test and treatment proposed and discusses all alternative options ensuring patients are fully informed and involved in all aspects of their care.

He has special interests in sudden cardiac death, ablations of complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, the use of novel pacing strategies including conduction system pacing and novel mapping and ablation strategies including ultra-high-density mapping, cryoablation, and pulse-field ablation.
Prior to joining private practice, he was a senior consultant at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS), where he established the electrophysiology service at Sengkang General Hospital and was instrumental in setting up the specialist outpatient clinic.
Dr Chua maintains his role as a clinical assistant professor at Duke-NUS Medical School. He is a fellow at local and international cardiovascular societies including the Academy of Medicine Singapore, American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Society.

Dr Julian Tay is currently an Associate Consultant in Cardiology at National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS) with key interest in Electrophysiology and Pacing. He completed his medical education at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (YLLSOM) in 2015 followed by MRCP(UK) and Masters of Medicine (Internal Medicine) in 2017.

Dr Singh graduated from Gahuati Medical College, Guwahati University, India. Subsequently, he did his training in Internal Medicine at Pt BDS Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak (India) and obtained his Master’s Degree in Year 2000. He obtained membership of Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK) in Year 2006. Thereafter, he did his Advanced Specialty Training (AST) in Cardiology at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore. Before joining National University Heart Centre, Singapore, he was an Associate Consultant in the Cardiac Department at the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
Dr Singh did fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Advanced Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Duke University, North Carolina, USA. He has also completed level 2 training in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Duke University, North Carolina, USA.
Dr Singh has keen interests in clinical cardiology, cardiac rhythm disorders (arrhythmia), cardiac pacing (including cardiac resynchronization therapy) and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. He performs electrophysiology study and radiofrequency ablation of cardiac arrhythmias. He also implants pacemakers and defibrillators.

Alden Yao is a Senior Cardiac Physiologist at National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS). He began his Allied Health career in 2012 and now has nearly 10 years’ experience in the field of Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) and Pacing. His deep interest in EP inspired him to be a Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS, IBHRE) as well as to obtain a Graduate Diploma of Cardiac Electrophysiology from the Cardiac Electrophysiology Institute of Australasia (CEPIA). When he’s not working in the EP lab, Alden can be found entertaining his two toddlers (and his cat), and admiring his whisky cabinet.

Jessica is a dedicated Cardiac Technologist at Changi General Hospital (CGH) since October 2022. She earned her degree in Life Sciences with a specialization in Biomedical Science and a minor in Psychology from the National University of Singapore in 2022. At CGH, Jessica excels in her role by conducting non-invasive cardiac procedures, assisting in the catheterization lab, and performing routine checks on cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs), including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs). She also manages remote monitoring of these devices, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and device performance.
